Almost three decades in development

The Nellie Cream Company was established in 2009 after 28 years of development.

David Christie, a Pharmacist of 30 years experience, has always had a passion for formulating and making his own topical skin treatments, and has gained vast retail experience in Pharmacy while working in New Zealand, England, and Australia. He has learnt what works and what doesn't, simply by seeing the same customers come back time after time with prescriptions for topical treatment products that are often either too strong or are not effective

For three decades David has been studying various formulae provided by doctors, skin specialists, and naturopath's world-wide, including scientific literature and old medical books dating back to the early 1900's

He has experimented with many different formulas, often taking the best parts of several of them, trying different combinations, trialling them, then eliminating unnecessary ingredients. This way he gets the most effective treatments with the least number and quantity of ingredients, thus minimising any risk of adverse reactions while still getting the best therapeutic effects.

Initially David made all of his products himself, mainly for his family and friends, then extended to supplying the general public. Now, due to the huge effectiveness of his products he can not physically keep up with the demand so has his top-selling products commercially manufactured to the highest pharmaceutical standards.
